The first part of the thesis introduces Nouveau roman, author's work and features of classic autobiography. Tato práce se zabývá specifiky vyprávění v autobiografickém díle Nathalie Sarrautové. V první části práce je představen Nový román, dílo autorky a znaky klasické autobiografie. Analytická část zkoumá jednotlivé složky díla a vyhodnocuje, ve kterých aspektech se Enfance odlišuje od tradiční autobiografie.
