Abstract:
V této práci jsem vytvořil nástroj pro benchmarkování souborových systémů, který kombinuje nejlepší vlastnosti již existujících nástrojů. Měří rychlost čtení a zápisu a také rychlost metadatových operací. Může běžet na několika vláknech i na několika sítí propojených strojích zároveň. Poté jsem svůj nástroj použil pro porovnání výkonu různých úložných zařízení a souborových systémů.
Abstract:
In this thesis I have created a filesystem benchmark tool that combines best features of already existing tools. It can measure read/write speeds as well as speed of metadata operations. It can run on multiple threads and on multiple network connected nodes. I have then used my benchmark tool to compare performance of different storage devices and file systems.
