Process of certification of ecological hotel

Abstract:

BONDARENKO, Kateryna. Proces certifikace ekologického hotelu [Bakalářská práce]. Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha : 2015. 45 stran. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat proces certifikace vybraného ekologického hotelu a navrhnout změny, které usnadní proces certifikace. Práce se zabývá zpracováním teoretických poznatků o procesu certifikace, odpovědných úřadech, povinných a volitelných kritériích. V analytické části práce jsou uvedené informace o ekohotelech v ČR, jejich ekologických způsobech provozu. Dále jsou zanalyzovány výsledky dotazníku, který vyplnil pražský ekohotel Alta Plaza. Bylo zjištěno, že proces certifikace trvá méně než půlroku; investice do ekoprovozu se vrací během 6 let. Návrhová část nabízí doporučení ke splnění některých kritérií certifikace a k získání ekoznačky: např. vytváření veřejné sítě pro publikování ekohotely výsledků vlastních zkušeností s procesem certifikace; vytváření systému kontroly a poradenství pro ekohotely apod.

Abstract:

BONDARENKO, Kateryna. Process of certification of ecological hotel [Bachelor’s Dissertation]. The Institute of Hospitality Management. Prague: 2015. 45 pages. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the proces of ecocertification in the selected hotel and propose amendments that will facilitate the certification process. Thesis deals with theoretical knowledge about the certification process, the responsible authorities, mandatory and optional criteria. In the analytical part of the work are given information about ecohotels in the Czech Republic, their ecological modes of operation. There are also analyzed the results of questionnaires filled in Prague ecohotel Alta Plaza. It was found that the certification process is continued less than six months; investment in ecologically returns within 6 years. Forms section provides recommendations to meet certain criteria and to obtain the eco-label certifications: eg. create a public network for publishing ecohotel results of their own experiences with the certification process; creating a system of checks and counseling for ecohotel like.
