Diplomová práce se zabývá řízením upisovacího rizika komerčních po-jišťoven a zkoumáním dopadů správného ocenění tohoto rizika na upi-sovací výsledky vybraných komerčních pojišťoven. This thesis is concerned with underwriting risk within commercial in-surance companies. The impact correct or incorrect assessment of un-derwriting risk may have on underwriting performance of selected insurance companies in Czech insurance market.
