Monooxygenases make inseparable part of metabolic processes in bacteria. These enzymes incorporate oxygen atoms into various substrates, which transforming this way into other products. Paracoccus denitrificans uses methanesulfonate as one of sulfur sources, which is split by monooxygenases to sulfite and formaldehyde. Monooxygenasy tvoří neoddělitelnou součást metabolických procesů v bakteriích. Tyto enzymy inkorporují atomy kyslíku do různých substrátů, které takto přeměňují na další produkty. Ty jsou dále využívány bakterií v širokém spektru následných reakcí. Paracoccus denitrificans může využívat jako jeden ze zdrojů síry methansulfonát, který je štěpen monooxygenasami na siřičitan a formaldehyd. Cílem této …more
