Security Project of a Selected Social and Cultural Event in the Context of Soft Target Protection

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na bezpečnost a ochranu měkkých cílů během festiva-lu Holešovská regata. V teoretické části jsou představeny základní pojmy týkající se ochrany měkkých cílů, spolu s obecně platnými právními normami a vyhláškami města Holešov. Dále je definován pojem měkký cíl, jeho dělení, principy ochrany a bezpečnost-ní prvky. Následně je popsán pojem terorismus, jeho charakteristika a různé formy. V praktické části je představeno město Holešov, program festivalu a jeho místo konání, provedena analýza bezpečnostních opatření a identifikovány nedostatky. Závěr práce ob-sahuje návrhy na zlepšení ochrany měkkých cílů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the security and protection of soft targets during the Holešovská Regata festival. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the basic con-cepts related to the protection of soft targets, along with generally applicable legal norms and municipal decrees of the town of Holešov. The term soft target is further defined, including its classification, protection principles, and security elements. Subsequently, the concept of terrorism, its characteristics, and various forms are described. The practi-cal part of the thesis presents the town of Holešov, the festival program and its venue, analyzes the security measures, and identifies shortcomings. The conclusion of the thesis contains proposals for improving the protection of soft targets.
