Trading in the Czech Republic in the context of its accession to the European Union: Reducing of the administrative burden of entrepreneurs

Abstract:

Práce směřuje k analýze a zhodnocení vývoje živnostenského podnikání v České republice se zaměřením na jeho právní úpravu po vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie. V důsledku Lisabonské strategie analyzuji aspekty v oblasti snižování administrativní zátěže podnikatelů. V souvislosti s přijatým Národním programem reforem ČR 2008-2010 na poli podnikatelského prostředí je zde hodnocena poslední přijatá novela živnostenského zákona, jejímž záměrem je zjednodušení vstupu do podnikání a současně snížení administrativní zátěže podnikatelů při podnikání. V neposlední řadě diplomová práce ukazuje vývoj podmínek pro živnostenské podnikání v České republice v časovém horizontu pěti let po vstupu země do Evropské unie.

Abstract:

The thesis aims to analyze and evaluate the development of business in the Czech Republic, focusing on the legislative framework after the Czech Republic´s accession to the European Union. In the context of the Lisbon strategy implementation I analyze aspects concerning the reduction in the administrative burden imposed on entrepreneurs. In connection with the adopted National Reform Program 2008-2010 in the CR concerning the business environment field, the thesis evaluates the latest adopted amendment to the Small Business Act, which aims at simplification of the start of the business and reduction in the administrative burden of entrepreneurs resulting from doing their business. Finally, the thesis shows the development of conditions for trade business in the Czech Republic during the last five years after the country's accession to the European Union.
