Diabetic diet

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis "Eating of diabetics" deals with the issue of patients suffering from diabetes mellitus and their nutrition. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the diet of diabetics, and thus to prove and at the same time answer the research question whether diabetics are able to eat fully, just like healthy people. The theoretical part describes the disease diabetes mellitus, the basic nutrients that the diabetic must take every day, and with the help of a rational diet to achieve satisfactory glycemia, which is most important for the life of a diabetic. In this section, we explain that a regular diet and a healthy lifestyle are prerequisites for success. The theoretical part is to better understand the lives of diabetics. In the analytical part, we will use a questionnaire survey to address the respondents and find out whether they follow all the principles necessary for satisfactory results and the course of the disease. We will find out how respondents perceive this disease, what limitations they see in this disease and, if so, whether they see any positives. In the design part, based on the results of the analytical part, we present a sample meal plan for five days and thus prove that diabetic diet can be varied.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca „Stravovanie diabetikov“ sa zaoberá problematikou pacientov trpiacich na ochorenie diabetes mellitus a ich výživu. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zhodnotiť stravovanie diabetikov, a tým preukázať a zároveň si odpovedať na výskumnú otázku, či sú diabetici schopní sa stravovať plnohodnotne, tak ako zdraví ľudia. V teoretickej časti je opísaná choroba diabetes mellitus, základné živiny, ktoré musí diabetik každodenne prijímať, a pomocou racionálnej stravy docieliť uspokojivú glykémiu, ktorá je najdôležitejšia pre život diabetika. V tejto časti vysvetľujeme, že predpokladom úspechu je pravidelný stravovací režim a zdravý životný štýl. Teoretickou časťou chceme, aby sa lepšie porozumelo životu diabetikov. V analytickej časti pomocou dotazníkového šetrenia oslovíme respondentov a zistíme, či dodržiavajú všetky zásady nevyhnutné pre uspokojivé výsledky a priebeh choroby. Zistíme ako túto chorobu vnímajú respondenti, aké obmedzenia vidia v tomto ochorení a poprípade, či vidia nejaké pozitíva. V návrhovej časti predložíme na základe výsledkov z analytickej časti vzorový jedálny plán na päť dní a tým dokážeme, že aj diabetická strava môže byť pestrá.
