Participation of the Father in Child Care and Child-Rearing in Europe and Arab States

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zameriava na podiel otca v starostlivosti a pri výchove dieťaťa v Európe a v Arabských krajinách. Teoretická časť je venovaná v prvej kapitole histórii otcovstva, rodovým stereotypom, mýtom o otcovstve a novým otcom. Druhá kapitola je venovaná arabskej a európskej rodine, ideálom rodiny podľa koránu a podľa biblie, polygamii a v poslednej časti sa hovorí o súčasnej arabskej a európskej rodine. Tretia kapitola uvádza rôzne výskumy týkajúce sa danej problematiky. Vo výskumnej časti bol použitý dotazník, prostredníctvom ktorého bol skúmaný podiel otca na výchove a starostlivosti o dieťa v Európe a v Arabských krajinách.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on participation of the father in child care and child-rearingin Europe and in the Arab countries . The theoretical part is devoted in the first chapter to the history of fatherhood , gender stereotypes , myths about fatherhood and a new fathers. The second chapter is devoted to Arab and European family , the ideal of the family according to the Koran and according to the Bible , polygamy , and in the last part talks about the current Arab and Europe family. The third chapter presents various researches on the issue. In the research part of the questionnaire was used , through which we examined participation of the father in child care and child-rearing in Europe and in the Arab countries .
