Possibilities of integration pupils with different mother tongue in crisis situation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku integrace žáků s odlišným mateřským jazykem v krizových situacích. Je rozdělena na dvě části, a to část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část charakterizuje sociokulturní handicap a problémy z něj vyplývající. Definuje žáka s OMJ a pojednává o způsobem práce s tímto žákem. Popisuje způsoby integrace těchto žáků do třídního kolektivu a jejich vzdělávání. Pojednává o současné pedagogické situaci a navrhuje možnosti řešení. V neposlední řadě charakterizuje krizovou situaci, krizi a možnosti řešení nastalé krize. Praktická část popisuje výzkumné cíle, otázky, metody, způsob zpracování a interpretaci získaných dat. Byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum, který spočíval na metodě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Tyto rozhovory jsou zaměřeny na pohled učitelů na danou problematiku, způsoby práce s žáky s OMJ a jejich začleňování do třídního kolektivu. Dále také na pohledu žáků s OMJ na příchod do nového prostředí a proces poznávání českého jazyka. Rozhovory jsou v této části shrnuty a doplněny o výroky jednotlivých učitelů. Problém integrace žáků s OMJ je všemi učitelkami chápán jako velmi zásadní a důležitý, i přesto se u některých vyskytli značné problémy s touto problematikou spojené. Značnou nevýhodou je nedostatečná připravenost pedagogů na tuto situaci. Přínosem mé diplomové práce je poukázání na již zmíněnou problematiku, možnost využití v praxi a poskytnutí zpětné vazby, týkající se problematiky integrace žáků s OMJ, dané škole. Poukazuje na nutnost vzdělávání pedagogů s ohledem na tuto problematiku.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of integration of pupils with a different mother tongue in crisis situations. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part characterizes the socio-cultural handicap and the problems arising from it. It defines the pupil with OMJ and discusses the ways of working with this pupil. It describes ways of integrating these pupils into the classroom and their education. Discusses the current pedagogical situation and suggests possible solutions. Last but not least, it characterizes the crisis situation, the crisis and the possibilities of solving the crisis. The practical part describes the research objectives, questions, methods, processing and interpretation of the obtained data. Qualitative research was conducted, based on the method of semi-structured interviews. These interviews focused on teachers' perspectives on the issue, ways of working with pupils with OMJ and their integration into the classroom collective. Furthermore, they also focus on the perspective of pupils with OMJ on their arrival in a new environment and the process of learning the Czech language. The interviews are summarised in this section and supplemented by the statements of individual teachers. The problem of integration of pupils with OMJ is perceived by all teachers as very fundamental and important, yet some of them experienced considerable problems related to this issue. A significant disadvantage is the lack of preparation of teachers for this situation. The contribution of my thesis is to point out the aforementioned issues, the possibility of using them in practice and to provide feedback on the issue of integration of pupils with OMJ to the school. It points out the necessity of educating teachers with regard to this issue.
