Possibilities of using peer work for psychosocial rehabilitation of people with a long-term mental disorder

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou možnosti zapojení peer práce do psychosociální rehabilitace lidí s dlouhodobým duševním onemocněním. Cílem této práce je popsat, jaké specifické možnosti nabízí peer práce v oblasti duševního zdraví, konkrétně v rámci procesu psychosociální rehabilitace klientů s duševním onemocněním. Teoretická část uvádí základní terminologická vymezení pojmů, jež se s tímto tématem pojí, aby vytvořila podklad pro kvalitativní výzkum v praktické části práce. Hlavním cílem praktické části je na základě čtyř uvedených kazuistik zhodnotit možnosti peer práce v organizaci poskytující psychosociální rehabilitace lidí s dlouhodobým duševním onemocněním.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the possibilities of involving peer work in the psychosocial rehabilitation of people with long-term mental illness. The aim of this work is to describe what specific options peer work offers in the field of mental health, specifically in the process of psychosocial rehabilitation of clients with mental illness. The theoretical part presents the basic terminological definitions of terms associated with this topic in order to create a basis for qualitative research in the practical part of the work. The main goal of the practical part is to evaluate the possibilities of peer work in an organization providing psychosocial rehabilitation of people with long-term mental illness on the basis of the four mentioned case studies.
