Changes in paternal role after devorce

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku naplňování otcovské role v časovém horizontu do pěti let od rozvodu manželství. Teoretická část práce je rozvržena do tří kapitol, kdy první z nich pojednává o otcovství, o jeho historii a současnosti, o vytváření mužské identity a jsou zde uvedeny též základní otcovské styly. Druhá kapitola se věnuje rozvodu manželství, jeho historii, současným možnostem porozvodového uspořádání péče o děti a v závěru je též zevrubně popsán negativní fenomén související s rozvodem - syndrom zavrženého rodiče. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na možnosti a limity otcovské úlohy muže po rozvodu. Empirická část práce obsahuje kvantitativní výzkum zaměřený na problematiku naplňování otcovské role v době do pěti let od rozvodu manželství. Výzkum byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření a jeho výsledky jsou shrnuty v závěru této práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of fulfilling the father´s role in the time frame of five years after devorce. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three chapters, when the first one deals with paternity, its history and present, the creation of male identity and there are also mentioned basic parental styles. The second chapter is devoted to the divorce, its history, the current possibilities of post-divorce care for children and in the conclusion is also described negative phenomenon related to divorce - parental alienation syndrome. The third chapter focuses on the possibilities and limits of the father´s role after the divorce. The empirical part of the thesis contains quantitative research focused on the issue of fulfilling the paternal role within five years from divorce. The research was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey and its results are summarized in the conclusion of this work.
