Abstract:

Diplomová práce Intence a intencionalita v dějinách umění sumarizuje historiografický vývoj výchozího pojmu napříč obory a staletími. Ve své praktické části předkládá experimentální po- znávání umělecké intence za pomoci eyetrackingu, který sleduje divákův pohled a jeho pohyb při prohlížení uměleckého díla. Druhá část práce mimo jiné obsahuje popis dvou experimentů, které si kladly za cíl objasnit vztah vizuální percepce a toho, jak je autor schopen do procesu zasáhnout na základě fyzikálních vlastností malby, jež v průběhu tvorby utváří a jež jsou závislé na jeho intenc

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Intention and intentionality in art history summarizes the historiographical development of the concept across disciplines and through centuries. The experimental part of the thesis introduces the experimental understanding of artistic intentions employing the eyetracking device, which is able to record the viewer‘s gaze and his eye movements during viewing a work of art. The second part includes a description of two experiments, the goal of which was to clarify the relationship between visual perception and how the author, using his intention, is able to intervene in the process by altering the physical properties of a painting during its creation.
