The image of ADHD in school-age children in the Rorschach method

Abstract:

Cílem rigorózní práce bylo zmapovat a popsat, jaké znaky se vyskytují v jednotlivých protokolech Rorschachovy metody dětí s ADHD a zjistit, zda-li vytvářejí společný obraz. Teoretická část se věnuje definici osobnosti, Rorschachově metodě, ADHD a mladšímu školnímu období a shrnuje dosavadní výzkumy provedené v této oblasti. Výzkumná data byla sbírána pomocí Rorschachovy metody a byla kódovaná podle Komprehensivního systému pomocí programu ROR online. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 9 respondentů ve věku od 7 do 11 let s diagnózou porucha aktivity a pozornosti F90.0. Respondenti byli vybráni pomocí záměrného účelového, dobrovolného a dostupného výběru tak, aby odpovídali zaměření tohoto výzkumu a uvedeným kvótám. Výzkum potvrdil, že protokoly Rorschachovy metody získané u dětí v mladším školním období s ADHD mají společný obraz a poukazuje na jejich specifické projevy a rysy. Tento výzkum může sloužit jako základ pro další rozšiřující výzkumy v této oblasti, zejména pro tvorbu nové škály v Rorschachově metodě. Tuto škálu by následně bylo možné využívat pro diagnostiku ADHD u dětských pacientů pomocí této metody.

Abstract:

The aim of the rigorous work was to map and describe what features are found in the individual protocols of the Rorschach method of children with ADHD and to find out whether they create a common picture. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of personality, the Rorschach method, ADHD and the younger school period and summarizes the research carried out in this area so far. Research data were collected using the Rorschach method and were coded according to the Comprehensive System using the ROR online program. The research group consisted of 9 respondents between the ages of 7 and 11 with a diagnosis of F90.0 attention and activity disorder. Respondents were selected using purposive, voluntary and accessible sampling to match the focus of this research and the stated quotas. The research confirmed that the protocols of the Rorschach method obtained from children in the younger school age with ADHD have a common image and points to their specific manifestations and features. This research can serve as a basis for further expanding research in this area, especially for the creation of a new scale in the Rorschach method. This scale could then be used to diagnose ADHD in child patients using this method.
