Projects Chess in Schools and their equivalents in V4 countries

Abstract:

Tato kvalifikační práce popisuje a zkoumá organizaci a úroveň projektů Šachy do škol a jejich ekvivalentů v zemích V4. Porovnává nabídku a rozsah podpory, technické a personální zajištění, poukazuje na způsoby prezentace těchto projektů směrem k šachové komunitě i k veřejnosti a všeobecně hodnotí míru zapojení národních šachových federací do organizace těchto projektů. Hledá příklady dobré praxe pro budoucí využití pro mezinárodní spolupráci zainteresovaných šachových organizací v zemích V4. Hlavní vzor a inspiraci nachází v maďarském projektu Chess Palace, který je řízen Šachovou nadací Judit Polgárové.

Abstract:

This qualification thesis describes and examines the organization and level of Chess for Schools projects and their equivalents in the V4 countries. It compares the offer and level of support, both technical and staff. It points out the ways of presenting these projects towards the chess community and the public and generally evaluates the level of involvement of national chess federations in the organization of these projects. It is looking for examples of good practice for future use for international cooperation of interested chess organizations in the V4 countries. The main model and inspiration is found in the Hungarian Chess Palace project, which is managed by the Judit Polgar Chess Foundation.
