The impact of the currency depreciation on the Czech tourism

Brno: Mendelova univerzita, 2019.Cílem bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení dopadů měnové intervence na cestovní ruch, zejména na cestovní kanceláře. Na základě analýzy sekundárních dat a kvali-tativního výzkumu formou řízených rozhovoru se zástupci cestovních kanceláří, je navrženo doporučení pro cestovní kanceláře, které v případě budoucích kurzových změn, mohou využít. Z provedené analýzy a rozhovorů vyplynulo, že cestovní kan-celáře i navzdory oslabení koruny a celkovému menšímu počtu cestujících, doká-zaly reagovat na změny a zvyšovaly tržby. Jeden z nejvýznamnějších negativních faktorů pro ně byl, že intervence byla nečekaná a tudíž nekalkulovaly s vyšší cenou. V rámci práce byla provedena komparace v České republice a ve Švýcarsku. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že díky opatřením, které ve Švýcarsku provedly, se propady v poptávce neprojevily.

Brno: Mendel University, 2019.The aim of the bachelor thesis is analyses impact of currency intervention on tourism, especially on travel agencies. Based on the analysis of secondary data and qualitative research in the form of managed interviews with travel agents, proposed recommendations for travel agents, which they can use for future exchange rate changes. Analyses and interviews showed that despite the weakening of the crown and overall lower number of passengers, travel agencies were to respond to changes and increase sales. One of the most significant negative factors for them was that the intervention was unexpected and therefore did not calculate the higher price. Comparisons were used in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The results showed that due to the measures implemented in Switzerland, the drops in demand did not show up.
