Visual Communication of Selected University Galleries

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Vizuální komunikace vybraných univerzitních galerií analyzuje vizuální komunikaci v off-line a online prostředí. Cílem je zjistit, zdali je komunikace galerie propojena s jednotným vizuálním stylem. Teoretická část se zabývá definováním poj-mů vizuální komunikace, kulturního a kreativního průmyslu a marketingové komunikace v umění a kultuře. Dále také definuje pojem vizuální identita a na závěr popisuje metodologii, kde jsou stanoveny cíle a výzkumné otázky. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu dokumentů, která zkoumá vizuální komunikaci univerzitních galerií. Výzkum je rozdělen na tři etapy a tvoří SWOT analýzu vizuální komunikace zlínské univerzitní galerie G18. V praktické části jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky a případná doporučení na zlepšení vizuální komunikace galerií.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focused on Visual communication of selected university galleries analyzes visual communication in offline and online environment. The aim is to find out if the gallery communication is connected with a united visual style. The theoretical part deals with defining the concepts of visual communication, cultural and creative industry, marketing communication in art and culture. It also defines the concept of visual identity and finally describes the methodology where goals and research questions are set. The practical part contains an analysis of documents which explores the visual communication of university galleries. The research is divided into three stages and consists of a SWOT analysis of the visual communication of the Zlin's University Gallery G18. In the practical part the research questions are answered and possible recommendations for improving the visual communication of galleries.
