Seniors and Computers - computer choice criteria, possibilities of usage, health hazard

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je určena především starším lidem s žádnými nebo velmi malými zkušenostmi s počítači. První část je zaměřena na výběr počítače a internetového připojení a analyzuje současnou situaci na trhu. Autor také upozorňuje na rizika spojená s výběrem hardware, software a internetového připojení. Ve druhé části jsou představeny vybrané služby internetu, které by mohly být užitečné pro uživatele počítačů -- začátečníky. Třetí část se zabývá zdravotními problémy spojenými s používáním počítačů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is intended mainly for elderly people, who have no or minimal experiences with computers. The first part is focused on computer and internet connection choice and analyses current situation on the market. The author warns of problems that are linked to the choice of hardware, software and internet connection. In the second part are introduced chosen internet services, which could be useful for beginners. The third part deals with health hazards that are connected to the using of computers.
