Youth care from the perspective of the journal Social revue

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o sociální péči o děti a mládež v letech 1919 - 1947 v Československu, která byla jedním z ústředních témat odborného časopisu Sociální revue. Péče o děti a mládež v Československu zachycená v časopise Sociální revue byla v této práci zkoumána pomocí obsahové analýzy odborných článků, jež byly součástí tohoto časopisu. Úvodní část práce se zabývala metodologií výzkumu a to konkrétně historickým výzkumem. Dále práce zahrnuje obecný popis odborného časopisu Sociální revue a historický kontext doby, ve které časopis vycházel. Následně jsou vymezeny formy a organizace zabývající se péčí o děti a mládež a vývoj péče v letech 1919 - 1947. Posledním výstupem práce je vytvoření seznamu zákonů, nařízení, výnosů a vyhlášek z oblasti péče o mládež, vydaných ministerstvem sociální péče, které byly publikovány v jednotlivých číslech časopisu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with social care for children and youth in the years 1919 - 1947 in Czechoslovakia, which was one of the central topics of the professional journal Social revue. The care for children and youth in Czechoslovakia in the magazine Social Revue was examined in this work by means of content analysis of professional articles that were part of this magazine. The introductory part of the thesis deals with research methodology, namely historical research. Furthermore, the thesis includes a general description of the scientific journal Social Revue and the historical context of the period in which the journal was based. Subsequently, forms and organizations dealing with the care of children and youth and the development of care in the years 1919-1947 are defined. The last output of the thesis is the creation of a list of laws, regulations and decrees in the field of youth care, issued by the Ministry of Social Care, which were published in individual issues of the journal.
