Magisterská práce se zabývá chybou ve výuce italštiny jako cizího jazyka. V teoretické části je popsána definice chyby a jsou zde uvedeny rozdíly mezi error, mistake a lapse. Dále jsou v práci zpracovány jednotlivé druhy chyb, příčiny jejich vzniku, metody uplatňující se ve výuce cizích jazyků a jejich přístup k chybě. Část je také věnována způsobům opravování chyb.
