Abstract:
Práce se věnuje historii indiánského kmene Čerokij. V práci jsou zmíněny jak první doložitelná setkání s indiány Čerokij, tak jejich rozepře s koloniálními evropskými státy. V další části práce se zaměřuje na moderní demokratický Čerokijský stát, jeho postupný rozvoj a následný rychlý úpadek. Abstract:
This thesis describe the history of the Cherokee tribe. Thesis contains the firs documented meetings of white man with Cherokee indians, thus their disputions with the european colonial powers. The next part of this thesis is written about modern democratic Cherokee Nation, its gradual developtment and successive fast decline.
