Artistic Text and Reading Literacy focusing on Fairy-tales

Abstract:

Tématem práce je výzkum čtenářské gramotnosti v pátých třídách základních škol v Hradci Králové. První část se zabývá teoretickými poznatky o čtenářské gramotnosti a vymezením odborných pojmů. Hlavní náplní práce je praktický výzkum čtenářské gramotnosti, který byl proveden metodou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník obsahuje otázky, vztahující se k vybrané ukázce uměleckého textu. Cílem práce je zjistit schopnosti a dovednosti žáků při komunikaci s uměleckým textem. Konkrétně se práce zaměřila na dovednosti vyhledávat v textu informace, interpretovat myšlenky, vyvozovat závěry a na schopnosti využít při práci s textem osobních zkušeností a vědomostí.

Abstract:

The theme of the work is a research into the literacy of year four's pupils of primary schools in the Hradec Králové area. First part deals with the theoretical knowledge of literacy, and with defining technical terms. The main concern of the work is a practical research into literacy, done by a survey using a questionnaire. The questionnaire includes questions related to a selected sample of a literary text. The aim is to determine the ability and skills of pupils to communicate with literary text. Specifically, the paper focuses on the skills to search the text for information, to interpret ideas, to draw conclusions, and on the ability to use personal experience and knowledge when working with the text.
