The floods in the Bečva river-basin in a district of Hranice

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je komplexně popsat problematiku povodní v zájmovém území. Práce je koncipována jako informační materiál, ve kterém může potřebné informace najít jak laická veřejnost, tak i příslušné vodoprávní úřady. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, první popisuje fyzickogeografickou charakteristiku zájmového území, každá ze zbylých čtyř kapitol se zabývá jedním aspektem problematiky povodní, konkrétně příčinami častého výskytu povodní, popisem historických a současných povodní s následnou typizací povodní podle meteorologickým příčin jejich vzniku, protipovodňovými opatřeními, která jsou v zájmovém území plánována a nakonec v páté kapitole je popsáno ohrožení zájmového území povodněmi, které je vyjádřeno plochou záplavového území, počtem ohrožených budov a počtem ohrožených osob při jednotlivých N-letých průtocích.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is a complex description of problems of floods in the area of interest. The work is conceived as an information material, which can bring a necessary information to the general public, or to the relevant water authorities. The thesis is divided into five chapters, the first one describes the physical geographical characteristics of the area, each of the remaining four chapters deals with one aspect of the issue of floods, specifically the causes of frequent floods, description of a historical and a contemporary floods followed by typing the floods according to meteorological causes of their generation, flood control measures, which are planned in the area of interest, and finally the fifth chapter describes the flood hazard of the area of interest, which is expressed in the flooded area, number of endangered buildings and the population at risk for each N-year flows.
