Evaluation of Obesity Among Female Students of the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením obezity u studentek fakulty sportovních studií Masarykovy univerzity. Teoretická část definuje obezitu, ukazuje na příčiny jejího vzniku. Hodnotí míru obezity a zdravotní rizika s ní spojená. Dále popisuje léčbu obezity a prevenci, která je ve správné výživě a prevenci. Praktická část je tvořena výzkumným šetřením, pro které jsem použila kvantitativní analýzu dat a její následnou interpretaci.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of obesity in students of Faculty of sports studies, Masaryk University. The theoretical part defines obesity, shows the causes of its creation. Assesses the degree of obesity and health risks associated with it. It also describes the obesity treatment and prevention, which is in proper nutrition and prevention. The practical part consists of a research investigation, for which I used a quantitative analysis of data and its subsequent interpretation.
