Tato práce se zabývá singapurskou angličtinou (SgE). Tato práce, zaměřujíce se na fonetickou analýzu SgE, má za úkol: poskytnout čtenářům informace o historickém vývoji Singapuru relevantní k tématu vývoji SgE, prezentovat čtenářům již provedený výzkum a aplikovat informace z prezentovaných výzkumů ve výzkumu vlastním.
