Diplomová práca sa venuje prípustnému riziku ako okolnosti vylučujúcej protiprávnosť činu. Meritom práce je detailný rozbor predmetnej okolnosti z pohľadu de lege lata. Práca je členená na tri hlavné časti. Prvá časť je venovaná základnému vymedzeniu rizika z právneho hľadiska.
