Synthesis and properties of chiral N4, N5-dibenzoyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4,5-dicarbohydrazide

Abstract:

Byla provedena literární rešerše zaměřená na hydrazidy karboxylových kyselin. Byly syntetizovány potřebné meziprodukty z dostupných výchozích látek. Byly navrženy a úspěšně experimentálně ověřeny možné postupy přípravy N4,N5-dibenzoyl- -2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4,5-dikarbohydrazidu a N4,N5-bis(4-nitrobenzoyl)-2,2-di- methyl-1,3-dioxolan-4,5-dikarbohydrazidu založené na acylaci (4R,5R)-2,2-dimethyl- 1,3-dioxolan-4,5-dikarbohydrazidu s příslušnými chloridy nebo anhydridy benzoové kyseliny. Identita a čistota syntetizovaných cílových sloučenin byla ověřena plynovou chromatografií s hmotnostní detekcí, elementární analýzou, spektry 1H- a 13C-NMR a spektry FT-IR. Změřeny byly i specifické optické otáčivosti. Produkt N4,N5-dibenzoyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4,5-dikarbohydrazidu byl testován jako asymetrický chirální ligand verze Cu2+-katalýzy v Henryho reakci.

Abstract:

A literature search focusing on the carboxylic acids-derived hydrazides has been performed. Starting from the available reactants, desired intermediates were synthesized. The synthetic methods leading to N4,N5-dibenzoyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4,5-dicarbohydrazide and N4,N5-bis(4-nitrobenzoyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4,5-dicarbohydrazide were proposed and experimentally verified. These reactions involved an acylation of (4R,5R)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4,5-dicarbohydrazide with selected acyl chlorides or anhydrides. The molecular structures and purity of all target compounds and intermediates was verified by GC/MS, elemental analysis, 1H- and 13C NMR and FT-IR methods. The optical rotations were also measured. The synthesized products were further tested as chiral ligands in the asymmetric version of Cu2+-catalyzed Henry reaction.
