The level of motor skills of ice hockey players in the category of older pupils

Abstract:

Lední hokej je kolektivní sport, ve kterém za úspěchem stojí celý tým. Hráči jsou podmíněni zvládat vykovávat několik činností najednou. Mimo řadu taktických a psychických prvků klade lední hokej důraz na schopnosti a dovednosti. Český hokej se dlouhodobě potýká s poklesem výkonosti hráčů, proto mě zajímá, zda by úroveň motorických dovedností nemohla být jedním z důvodů již zmiňovaného poklesu. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje právě na problematiku zmíněných motorických dovedností hráčů ledního hokeje ve věku 13-15 let na ledě. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 20 hráčů, z nichž má jen polovina možnost absolvovat dvakrát týdně specifické tréninkové jednotky pro rozvoj individuálních motorických dovedností. Cílem práce bylo zjistit a následně porovnat úroveň motorických dovedností u hráčů klubů HC Vítkovice Ridera a HC RT Torax Poruba v kategorii starších žáků. Výzkum proběhl využitím testové baterie pro testování motorických dovedností, která obsahuje 17 jednotlivých položek (testů), jenž hráči plnili od nejjednodušší po nejobtížnější. Testová baterie byla vytvořena ve spolupráci FTVS UK a Českého svazu ledního hokeje. Při porovnání výsledků obou týmů zjišťujeme, že hráči klubu, ve kterém mají možnost absolvovat specifické tréninkové jednotky mají lepší výsledné hodnoty než hráči klubu, kde tuto možnost nemají.

Abstract:

Ice hockey is a team sport where the whole team is behind the success. Players are required to perform several activities at the same time. Ice hockey emphasizes skills and abilities in addition to a number of tactical and mental elements. Czech ice hockey has been struggling with a decline in player performance for a long time, so I wonder if the level of movement skills could be one of the reasons for this decline. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of the mentioned movement skills of ice hockey players aged 13-15 years on ice. The research sample consisted of 20 players, only half of whom have the opportunity to undergo specific training units for the development of individual motor skills. The aim of the work was to determine and then compare the level of motor skills of players of the clubs HC Vítkovice Ridera and HC RT Torax Poruba in the category of older pupils. The research was conducted using a motor skills test battery containing 17 individual items (tests), which the players performed from the easiest to the most difficult. The test battery was created by Jaroslav Chmelíř as part of his dissertation in cooperation with the Czech Ice Hockey Association. When comparing the results of both teams, we find that the players of the club where they have the opportunity to complete specific practice have better result values than the players of the club where they do not have this opportunity.
