My thesis deals with the active employment policy. The aim is to analyze the tools of active employment policy and the impact on reducing unemployment in the Czech Republic at the regional level. Greater attention is devoted to Česká Lípa region with an overview of the use of funds for active employment policy and effectiveness in dealing with unemployment.
