Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé absolventské práce bylo posoudit kvalitu života dospělých, kteří prošli pěstounskou péčí, a skrze to reflektovat průběh a praxi pěstounské péče. První kapitola pojednává o rodině jako prostředí socializace a o pěstounství jako alternativě k rodičovství, druhá kapitola popisuje potřeby a zájem dítěte z hlediska budování vztahů, posilování autonomie, učení se samostatnému životu, ve třetí kapitole definuji kvalitu života, dimenze kvality života a přístupy k měření kvality života, čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá metodologií výzkumu, pátá kapitola představuje profily mladých dospělých, šestá kapitola interpretuje výzkumná data podle hlavních kategorií, sedmá kapitola popisuje výsledky výzkumu z hlediska naplnění cílů, a dává je do kontextu s odbornou literaturou. Také uvádí nové poznatky z výzkumu. V závěru jsou shrnuty hlavní přínosy této absolventské práce, a doporučení a náměty pro sociální práci.

Abstract:

The main objective of my graduate thesis was to evaluate the quality of life of the adults who experienced foster care and so reflect the process and practice of foster care. The first part treats a family as the environment of socialization and deals with foster care as an alternative to parenthood. The second part describes the needs and interests of a child from the perspective of forging relationships, giving him greater autonomy and learning how to become independent. In the third part I define the quality of life, dimensions of the quality of life and approaches to the life quality measurements. The fourth part covers the research methodology, the fifth one introduces the profiles of young adults, the sixth part interprets the research data according to the main categories, the seventh part describes the research outputs from the perspective of the goals fulfilment contextualizing them with professional literature. The latest findings are also mentioned there. There are the main assets summarized at the end of my graduate’s thesis as well as some recommendations and ideas for social work.
