Mindfulness and Attachment Related – New Perspectives and Benefits for Leadership

Abstract:

Cílem této studie je zmapovat současné empirické poznání a poskytnout tak hlubší vhled do souvislostí mezi citovou vazbou a mindfulness s ohledem na osobu ve vedoucí pozici, respektive potenciální vazebnou figuru. Specificky je práce zaměřena na oblast leadershipu, její poznatky lze však využít také pro oblast zdravotnictví a terapeutické práce, koučování a v neposlední řadě pro další výzkum citové vazby a mindfulness. Práce přináší nové perspektivy do oblastí citové vazby, mindfulness a jejich propojení. Jedním z nových témat je nepřipoutanost, která je stejně jako mindfulness součástí buddhistické psychologie a je těsně spjata s meditací vhledu. Nepřipoutanost je nabídnuta jako nový způsob nahlížení citové vazby, vazebné jistoty a také metod pro rozvíjení dospělých v této oblasti. Práce je přehledem výsledků 104 prací, které byly zařazeny na základě systematického výběru na základě předem zvolených klíčových slov, horizontu posledních 10 let (2007-2017) a vyhledávače EBSCO. Hlavní přínos této práce tkví v utřídění sebraných poznatků a poukázání na souvislostech mezi uvedenými koncepty. V závěru jsou navrženy výzkumné otázky pro další výzkum v této oblasti i doporučení pro praktickou aplikaci poznatků v praxi práce s dospělými, specificky v oblasti leadershipu

Abstract:

The aim of the study is to provide a systematic review of the currently available evidence and knowledge, and by that to offern an insight into the relations of attachment and mindfulness with a specific focus on the leading figure – the potential attachment figure. The specifi area of interest in leadership. The results may be well used also in the areas of health care, coaching etc., including further research in the area of attachment theory and mindfulness. The study reveals new perspectives in the attachment theory and mindfulness and their common ground. One of the newest concepts in this area is non-attachment, rooted as well as mindfulness in the Buddhist psychology and closely related to mindfulness meditation. Non-attachment is offered as a new way to understand attachment theory, attachment security and the methods which are currently available for the adult development in this field. This study reviews 104 of research papers which were selected and included based on systematic search limited by specified key words as well as by the time limit of the past 10 years (2007-2017). The EBSCO database was used as the searching tool. The main result is the systematic review of the collected evidence and an introduction of the relations between the selected concepts. At the end of the review, new areas for further research are stated as well as recommendations for practical use of the newly gained knowledge in the area of development of adults, mainly in the area of leadership.
