Budgeting in the production enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o podnikovém plánování nákladů, vymezuje základní pojmy týkající se manažerského účetnictví a controllingu a vztahuje teoretické poznatky ke konkrétnímu podniku. Prvním cílem je na základě teoretické přípravy vybrat a aplikovat vhodné postupy a metody pro zavádění nového plánovacího procesu, který spočívá v plánování nákladů jednotlivých nákladových středisek. Autor pracuje v oddělení controllingu a na zavádění tohoto plánovacího procesu se tak přímo podílí. Druhým cílem je analyzovat současné podnikové plánování, navrhnout případná vylepšení stávajícího procesu a implementovat je v podniku. Posledním cílem je na základě předchozí analýzy optimalizovat použití jednotlivých dokumentů vytvořených v Excelu, které jsou vztažené k procesu plánování. Zavedení nového plánovacího procesu použitím oboustranné metody plánování vedlo k nalezení úzkých míst, která představují potenciální příležitosti pro úspory nákladů, a k jejich následnému odstranění. Analýza stávajícího podnikového plánování vedla k nalezení nesrovnalostí v hlavním podnikovém plánu. Byla navržena možná řešení, z nichž bylo vybráno a následně zavedeno v podniku to nejvhodnější. Při analýze jednotlivých dokumentů vytvořených v Excelu došlo ke zjednodušení jejich používání nastavením vhodných nástrojů a funkcí.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the business planning of costs, defines the basic terms related to management accounting and controlling and applies theoretical knowledge to a particular company. The first goal of this thesis is to select and apply appropriate procedures and methods for the implementation of the new planning process that involves planning of costs for various cost centers, using the theoretical knowledge. The author works in the controlling department and immediately participates in the implementation of this planning process. The second goal is to analyze the current business planning, to suggest possible improvements of the existing process and to implement them in the company. The last goal is to optimize the use of thndividual documents created in the spreadsheet Excel that are related to the planning process, using the data from the previous analysis. The usage of the planning method has resulted in the identification of weaknesses, which represent potential opportunities for cost savings, and in their subsequent removal. Analysis of the current corporate planning has led to the finding of imperfections in the main business plan. From all the possible solutions the best ones were selected and subsequently introduced in the company. While analysing the documents created in the spreadsheet Excel their use by setting the appropriate tools and functions was simplified.
