Circular Jewel of La Tene cemeteries dated to LT B-C

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá nálezy kruhového šperku pocházejícími ze střední doby laténské v Čechách a na Moravě. Jejím cílem je jednak stručné uvést do rámce studované problematiky, popsat obecnou charakteristiku formálních vlastností tohoto typu artefaktu včetně popisu materiálové skladby, z nichž jsou předměty vyrobeny. V následující části diplomové práce analyzuji soubor 697 kusů z celkového počtu 319 hrobových celků vyskytující se na plochých kostrových pohřebištích z časového horizontu LT B- C1. Syntéza práce se věnuje procentuálnímu zastoupení jednotlivých kategorií kruhového šperku v kontextech, četnosti v rámci pohlaví, způsobu nošení kruhů a vzájemnému vztahu kruhových šperků vůči ostatní hrobové výbavě. Pro účel práce byla vytvořena databáze, statistické zhodnocení dat proběhlo za pomoci faktorové analýzy a jednoduchých kvantitativních metod v databázových programech. Výsledky jsou v závěru práce shrnuty. Součástí práce je relační databáze, obrazové přílohy, grafy a tabulky.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis is dealing with findings of circular jewel coming from the middle La Téne period in a region of Bohemia and Moravia. The aim of the thesis is to briefly introduce the studied topic, to describe a general formal characteristics of this type of an artefact including the discription of materials, which the items are made of. In the following part of the diploma thesis, I analyse a group of 697 items from a total number of 319 graves, which are occuring themselves on flatty skeleton burial from a time period of LT B- C1. The synthesis of the thesis is dealing with a representation of single categories of circular jewel in percents, with a frequency according to sex, with a way of wearing the rings and with a connection of circular jewel compared to other items, which can be found in the graves in general. There was a database made in a purpose of the thesis. The statistical evaluation was done with a use of factor analysis and simple kvantitative methods in database programes. The results are concluded by the end of the study. As a part of the thesis, there are relational database, grafs and tabs.
