Tato diplomová práce zkoumá motivy a přípravu žáků středních škol na zkoušku C1 Advanced. Čerpá z dat získaných ze 13 rozhovorů, které byly analyzovány metodami zakotvené teorie. Práce popisuje zkušenosti žáků, které vedou k jejich úspěšnému složení této zkoušky, přičemž zohledňuje jak kontext žáků, tak jejich vnitřní procesy. This diploma thesis explores motives and ways of preparation of ‘C1 Advanced’ exam takers among upper secondary school students. It draws on data from 13 interviews which were analysed with grounded theory methods.
