Geography of religien in geographical education - Buddhism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je Geografie náboženství v zeměpisném vzdělávání se zaměřením na buddhismus v České republice. V teoretické části jsou představeny nejpodstatnější dějiny jednotlivých světových náboženství, která se vyučují na základní škole. Rovněž je nastíněno šíření a základní členění světových náboženství. Podrobněji jsou popsány dějiny buddhismu. Dále je práce zaměřena teoreticky pouze na Českou republiku, kde se podrobně věnuje buddhismu. Praktická část zahrnuje geografii náboženství v kontextu makroregionů, světových regionů, ale také místního regionu se zaměřením na buddhismus. Témata vycházejí z RVP ZV a odpovídají jeho cílům.

Abstract:

The topic of this master's thesis is The Geography of Religion in Geographical Education with Focus on Buddhism in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part presents the fundamental history of individual world religions that are taught in primary school. The expansion and basic division of world religions are also outlined. The history of Buddhism is described in greater detail. Beyond that, the thesis is theoretically focused. It concentrates namely on Buddhism in the Czech Republic. The practical part includes the geography of religion in the context of macro-regions, world regions, and the local region with a closer focus on Buddhism. The topics are based on the RVP ZV document and are in accordance with its educational goals.
