Tato diplomová práce se zabývá abstraktností směnečného závazku, která je jednou z jeho z nejdůležitějších vlastností. Můžeme ji charakterizovat jako nezávislost projevující se ve dvou rovinách s ohledem na platnost směnečného závazku a ve dvou formách s ohledem na možnost dlužníka bránit se věřitelem vymáhané pohledávce. This thesis deals with one of the most important features of bills of exchange obligations, abstractness, a feature characterised as independence realised by two levels of validity and two defences for a debtor resisting a creditor’s claim.
