Bakalářská práce se věnuje kvantitativnímu stanovení monoklinických pyroxenů a jejich významu v klasifikaci hornin. V první části jsou přehledně zpracovány informace o chemickém složení, struktuře, fyzikálních vlastnostech a petrológii monoklinických pyroxenů.
