Finland in Czech press between the years 1938–1945
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat mediální obraz Finska tak, jak ho vytvářel tisk vycházející na českém území mezi lety 1938–1945, na pozadí změn politického prostředí ve Finsku a v Československu. Hlavní část práce tvoří analýza obsahu tří významných dobových periodik se zaměřením na články související s Finskem a její usazení do kontextu politických a historických faktů.
Abstract:
The thesis aims to describe the evolution of the media image of Finland in Czech press on the background of political changes in both Finland and Czechoslovakia between the years 1938–1945. The main part of the thesis analyses three influential newspapers of the time with the main focus on articles connected to Finland and provides it with political and historical background.
