Current European trends in Music Education and their Potential Application to the Educatin in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Dizertační práce autorky je v plném rozsahu zaměřena na kritický rozbor vybraných současných zahraničních trendů a tendencí ve všeobecné hudební výchově, kterými se dlouhodobě zabývá evropská organizace sdružující učitele hudební výchovy European Association for Music in Schools. Výuka hudební výchovy na základních školách se potýká s mnohými problémy, které se z pedagogické praxe promítají i do teoretické roviny hudební výchovy. Nejedná se pouze o české specifikum, ale o celoevropský fenomén, jenž se stává předmětem vědeckých konferencí a kongresů. Dizertační práce si klade za cíl zahraniční trendy v hudební výchově kriticky analyzovat, posoudit jejich přínos pro hudební výchovu a možnost jejich aplikace na koncepci hudební výchovy na základních a středních školách v České Republice.

Abstract:

Author's dissertation thesis is fully focused on a critical analysis of selected contemporary international trends and tendencies in the general music education. International organization called European Association for Music in Schools associates music teachers from various european countries. Practical music education in primary schools has to face many problems which are reflected also in the theoretical level of music education. It is not just specifics of the Czech Republic, but also an European phenomenon, which has become the subject of many scientific conferences and congresses. Dissertation thesis aims to critically analyse international trends in music education, to assess their contribution to music education and the possibility of their application to the concept of music education in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic.
