Use of the Internet of Things within the buildings automation

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice internetu věcí se zaměřením na automatizaci v budovách a problematiku řeší na příkladu rodinného domu. Cílem diplomové práce je analýza možností pro uplatnění internetu věcí pro konkrétní rodinný dům, včetně porovnání a vyhodnocení variant a výběru optimální varianty. Úvodní část popisuje historii internetu a internetu věcí, význam jeho využití v budovách. V druhé teoretické části se práce zabývá systémy automatizace budov a popisuje možnosti automatizace v rodinných domech. Třetí teoretická část popisuje oblasti, které souvisejí s internetem věcí a automatizací v budovách, a které podporují jejich použití, včetně síťových komunikačních technologií. V praktické části jsou analyzovány možnosti uplatnění internetu věcí a automatizace na příkladu konkrétního rodinného domu. Pro rodinný dům je řešena varianta modernizace (zlepšení) stávajícího stavu použitím zařízení, která umožňují připojení k internetu, vzdálené ovládání a monitorování. Dále jsou posuzovány varianty s použitím konkrétního řídicího systému, u kterého je možné integrovat jednotlivé prvky v rámci daného řídicího systému. Je provedeno posouzení a vyhodnocení variant. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro posuzovaný rodinný dům.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of Internet of Things with a focus on automation in the field of buildings and analyzes the issue on the example of a family house. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the possibilities for the application of the Internet of Things for the specific family house, including the comparison and evaluation of variants and the selection of the optimal variant.The introductory part describes the history of the Internet and Internet of Things, the importance of its use in the field of buildings. The second theoretical part deals with the building automation systems and describes the possibilities of automation in the family houses. The third theoretical part describes areas related to the Internet of Things and building automation, which support their use, network communication technologies. The practical part analyzes the possibilities of using the Internet of Things and automation on the example of the specific family house. There is solved a variant of modernization (improvement) of the current state by using devices which enable their connection to the Internet, remote control and monitoring for the family house. Furthermore, variants using a specific control system in which it is possible to integrate the individual elements within a given control system are assessed. The assessment and evaluation of variants is performed. The final part summarizes the specific conclusions and recommendations for the assessed family house.
