The use of foreign words in the magazines for adolescents

Abstract:

The principal aim of this thesis is to analyze the words of foreign origin, which can be found in the Spanish vocabulary and in the magazines for adolescent. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The first part is focused on the history and the development of the Spanish language, especially in terms of the impact of foreign languages. In this thesis we have mentioned and explained the basic elements that form an important part of the process of adoption of the word from foreign languages. These are mainly terms as a foreign word o loan-word. We have also paid attention to the concepts as calques, hybrids and xenisms. In the practical part, we have created the Spanish-Czech glossary of foreign words, which appear in the magazines for adolescent, not only in printed form, but also on the Internet. We have supplemented the glossary with comments focusing mainly on the origin of the word, their frequency, possible synonyms and problems that have occurred in the search for equivalents in Czech.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat slova cizího původu, která se vyskytují ve španělské slovní zásobě a v časopisech pro mládež. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. První část je zaměřena na historii a vývoj španělského jazyka, a to hlavně z hlediska vlivu cizích jazyků. V práci jsme zmínili a vysvětlili základní prvky, které tvoří důležitou součást v procesu přejímaní slov z cizích jazyků, jedná se hlavně o pojmy jako cizí slovo a výpůjčka. Dále jsme věnovali pozornost pojmům jako kalky, hybridy a xenismy. V praktické části jsme sestavili španělsko-český glosář cizích slov, která se objevují v časopisech pro dospívající, nejen v tištěné formě, ale i na internetu. Glosář jsme doplnili o komentáře zaměřující se především na původ cizích slov, na jejich frekvenci, případná synonyma a problémy, které nastaly při hledání ekvivalentů v češtině.
