The Modern Application of Audit Report in Corporate Practice

Abstract:

Audit je pro mnoho obchodních společností ze zákona povinný, a proto je přínosem provést audit na konkrétní firmě a ukázat obtížnosti auditu, popřípadě poukázat na úskalí auditu. Práce objasní podstatu auditu pomocí charakteristik postupů a popsáním zainteresovaných subjektů na auditu účetní závěrky. Klíčem k provedení správného auditu jsou auditorské standardy, které slouží jako „manuál“ k provedení správného auditu. Následně bude průběh auditu a jeho odlišnosti v teoretických přístupech. Na základě literární rešerše oborových teorií bude cílem práce provedení auditu účetní závěrky, který ověřuje účetní výkazy vybraného podniku a nabízí praktickou nápravu odhalených zjištění. Pro naplnění cíle práce byly využity metody analýzy, komparace, výpočtů, syntézy a především deskripce. Teoretická část definuje a objasňuje problematiku auditorské profese a auditorských metod. Ověření účetních výkazů je v práci provedeno u stavební společnosti v roce 2017. Praktická část je rozdělena na podkapitoly podle účetních oblastí a ty jsou dále testovány. Závěrem každé podkapitoly jsou sumarizována zjištění, ke kterým v auditu došlo. Výsledkem práce je zpráva auditora bez výhrad, která vyhodnocuje celý provedený audit jednotlivých oblastí.

Abstract:

Auditing is legally required for many businesses, so it is beneficial to audit a particular business, demonstrate the difficulty of the audit, or point to the audit trail. The work will clarify the nature of the audit using the characteristics of the procedures and describing the stakeholders in the audit of the financial statements. The key to performing the correct audit is the auditing standards that serve as a "manual" to perform the correct audit. Consequently, the course of the audit and its differences in theoretical approaches will be followed. On the basis of a literary research of field theories, the aim of the work is to perform an audit of the financial statements, which verifies the financial statements of the selected company and offers a practical remedy for the discovered findings. The methods of analysis, comparison, computations, synthesis and especially descriptions were used to fulfill the aim of the thesis. The theoretical part defines and explains the issues of auditing profession and audit methods. Verification of the financial statements is done at the construction company in 2017. The practical part is divided into sub-chapters according to accounting areas and they are further tested. The conclusion of each subsection is summed up by the findings of the audit. The outcome of the work is an unqualified auditor's report that evaluates the entire audit of individual areas.
