The purview of a social worker at municipal authority in working with long-term unemployed people

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat kompetence sociálního pracovníka obecního úřadu potřebné pro práci s dlouhodobě nezaměstnanými a na příkladu konkrétního obecního úřadu analyzovat pracovní postupy sociálních pracovníků tohoto úřadu ve srovnání s teorií. Bude předveden Standardizovaný záznam sociálního pracovníka, který je pro sociální práci na obci specifický. V aplikační části budou představeny tři kazuistiky dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných klientů se zaměřením na sociální práci, použité metody a využité kompetence. V diskusi budou srovnány s teorií postupy, ale i schopnosti a dovednosti sociálních pracovníků obecního úřadu využité při pomoci a podpoře dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných klientů. Jako doplňková technika bude použit expertní rozhovor s vedoucí oddělení obecního úřadu na dané téma. Bude ukázáno, že sociální práce na obecních úřadech má své důležité místo a sociální pracovníci mohou významně přispívat k pomoci dlouhodobě nezaměstnaným klientům.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the competencies of a social worker of a municipal office needed to work with the long - term unemployed and to analyze the working procedures of social workers of this office in comparison with the theory on the example of a specific municipal office. A standardized record of a social worker, which is specific for social work in the municipality, will be presented. In the application part will present three cases of long-term unemployed clients with a focus on social work, used methods and used competencies . In the discussion will compare the procedures, but also the abilities and the skills of social workers of the municipal office used in helping and supporting long-term unemployed clients. As an expert interview with the head of the department of the municipal office on a given topic will be used as an additional technique. It will be shown that social work in municipal offices has an important place and social workers can make a significant contribution to helping long-term unemployed clients.
