Research on the development of narrative competence in children of younger school age.

Abstract:

This work deals with the research of the development of narrative competence in children of younger school age. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of narrative competence, the development of language skills and their importance for the development of narrative competence, the description and characteristics of the child of the younger school age and at the end of this part is definition of fairy tale and its importance in speech development. The aim of the practical part of the bachelor thesis was then to assess the development of narrative competence in the specific parameters. Research took place at the end of the school year and then was repeated at the beginning of the next school year. The collected data was evaluated using graphs and compared to each other. It was assumed that the observed cognitive parameters would be increased. This hypothesis has not been confirmed.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá výskumom vývoja naratívnej kompetencie u detí mladšieho školského veku. Teoretická časť práce je venovaná definícii naratívnej kompetencie, vývoju jazykových schopností a ich významu pre vývoj naratívnej kompetencie, popisu a charakteristike dieťaťa mladšieho školského veku a v závere tejto časti je bližšie definovaná rozprávka a jej význam pri utváraní reči. Cieľom praktickej časti bakalárskej práce potom bolo posúdenie vývoja naratívnej kompetencie, v daných sledovaných parametroch u detí na konci prvej triedy a potom opakovane po nástupe do druhého ročníka. Zozbierané dáta boli vyhodnotené pomocou grafov a navzájom porovnané. Predpokladom bolo, že sa sledované kognitívne parametre budú zvyšovať. Táto hypotéza sa nepotvrdila.
