Abstract:

Tato práce zkoumá a porovnává diskurzy o problémech, které zažívají lidé se zrakovým postižením (LZP), jak je vyjadřují sami LZP a sociální pracovníci. Realizovala jsem a pomocí analyzovala diskurzivní analýzou 15 rozhovorů, včetně opakovaných rozhovorů s LZP. Mým cílem bylo identifikovat rozdíly a podobnosti v jejich perspektivách. Diskurzy se tematicky rozcházejí, přičemž PVI se zaměřují na subjektivní životní situace a zdůrazňují prvky, jako jsou sociální vztahy a práce. Naproti tomu diskurzy sociálních pracovníků jsou formovány právním rámcem Zákona o sociálních službách, což omezuje jejich pohled na obtíže PVI na kontext zákonem stanovených sociálních služeb. Studie odhaluje možné přehlížení některých potíží LZP v důsledku zúženého zaměření sociálních pracovníků a zdůrazňuje potřebu holističtějšího přístupu. Klíčovou výzvou je vytvoření prostředí, v němž se PVI cítí jistí, že jejich potíže budou uznány a řešeny, a podpora participace LZP

Abstract:

This thesis explores and compares the discourses on troubles experienced by peo-ple with visual impairment (PVIs), as expressed by PVIs themselves and social workers. I conducted and analyzed 15 interviews, including repeated sessions with PVIs and social workers using discourse analysis. I aimed to identify differences and similarities in their perspectives. The discourses diverge thematically, with PVIs fo-cusing on subjective life situations, emphasizing elements like social relations and work. In contrast, social workers' discourses are shaped by the legal framework of the Social Services Act, limiting their view of PVIs' difficulties to the context of legally sanctioned social services. The study reveals potential oversight of certain PVIs' dif-ficulties due to the legal focus of social workers, emphasizing the need for a more holistic approach. A key challenge is creating an environment where PVIs feel as-sured that their troubles will be acknowledged and addressed and support partici-pation of PVI.
