Abstract:
The Diploma Thesis deals with the character of St. Adalbert (Vojtěch) in the medieval and baroque literature. Besides hagiographic texts, selected histographic texts with features of legendistic genre are analyzed. These texts contain motives, which were later used by authors of new legends.
