Funding SME projects via the capital market

Abstract:

Daná diplomová práce je věnována problematice získávání finančních prostředků na českém kapitálovém trhu. Účelem získání prostředků je rozšíření stávajícího rozsahu činnosti. Práce je založena na provedení rešerše a na vlastním výzkumu. Při zpracování vybraného tématu byly shromažďovány a analyzovány dostupné informace o MSP, a zároveň i o celkové situaci MSP týkající se přístupu ke kapitálovému trhu. Hypotéza diplomové práce je následující – MSP mají v porovnání s velkými podniky ztížený přístup na český kapitálový trh. Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je na základě zhodnocení a analýzy získaných informací o vybraných problémech souvisejících se vstupem MSP na kapitálový trh, jejich konfrontace s teoretickými, dosud známými podklady uvést sekvenci jednotlivých kroků a nákladů jak administrativních, respektive časových, tak i finančních spojených se vstupem MSP na český kapitálový trh. K dosažení cíle a potvrzení stanovené hypotézy jsou využity následující metody: analýza, syntéza, komparace a finanční analýza.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is dealing with the issue of obtaining funds on the Czech capital market. The purpose of funding is to extend the existing business scope. The thesis is based on literature research and own research. During the processing of the selected topic, there were gathered available information on SMEs and analysed, as well as the general situation of SMEs regarding access to the capital market. The hypothesis of the diploma thesis is the following - SMEs have difficulty accessing the Czech capital market compared to large companies. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate and analyse the obtained information on selected problems related to the entry of SMEs into the capital market, their confrontation with the theoretical, well-known documents, to indicate the sequence of individual steps and costs of administrative, respectively time and financial ones related to the entry of SMEs on the Czech capital market. The following scientific methods were used to achieve the goal and approve the hypothesis: analysis, synthesis, comparison and financial analysis.
