The fall of Tokugawa shogunate, influence of Choshu and Satsuma clans
Abstract:
Ve své bakalářské práci se věnuji klíčovým momentům na konci 19. století v Japonsku, zformování aliance mezi klany Čóšú a Sacuma a jejich vlivu na pád šógunátu. Zabývám se také osobnostmi jako byli Sakamoto Rjóma, Saigó Takamori a dalšími významným účastníky tohoto vojenského převratu.Abstract:
In my work I focus on key moments of the end of 19th century in Japan, formation of alliance between Choshu and Satsuma clans and their influence on overthrowing the bakufu. I also devoted few pages to essential individuals in the process of overthrowing Tokugawa bakufu, such as Sakamoto Ryoma, Saigo Takamori, Katsu Kaishu and a few else.
