This thesis examines the framing practices adopted by British mass media to present the Greek financial crisis between October 2009 and August 2015. The corpus used for the analysis contains online news articles taken from three British media providers, namely The Telegraph, The Guardian a Mail Online. Rigorózní práce se snaží specifikovat rámcování, které žurnalisté uplatnili ve svých článcích se zaměřením na řeckou finanční krizi. Studie je analýzou rámců žurnalistických textů uveřejněných na webových stránkách třech britských deníků: The Telegraph, The Guardian a Mail Online, a zkoumá také uplatnění konceptuálních metafor, které napomáhají úspěšnému naplnění komunikativního cíle textu.
