An Analysis of the Altcoins Future Values

Abstract:

V tejto diplomovej práci je analyzovaná a rozoberaná problematika odhadu budúcich hodnôt kryptomien. Cieľom bolo analyzovať kryptomeny z technického a obchodného pohľadu, zistiť možnosti použitia technickej analýzy pri kryptomenách a navrhnúť neurónovú sieť pre predikciu hodnôt a jej výsledky spracovať a porovnať. Výber indikátorov technickej analýzy vhodných pre kryptomeny a typ neurónovej siete pre predikciu budúcich hodnôt prebiehal rešeršou. Výber parametrov neurónovej siete, ktoré dosahujú najlepšie výsledky prebiehal experimentovaním a porovnávaním dosiahnutých hodnôt pri menení jednotlivých parametrov oproti prvotnému nadstaveniu. Predspracovanými datasetmi s vybranými indikátormi bola natrénovaná neurónová sieť s parametrami vybranými z experimentov. Výsledné predikcie tejto siete boli porovnané s výsledkami odhadov odborníkov a s reálnym vývojom ceny. Výsledkom je sieť, ktorá predikuje presnú cenu s pomerne veľkou odchýlkou 13,92% ale pri odhade trendu dosahuje presnosť 93,90%.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to cryptocurrencies value prediction analysis and description. The goal was to explore both technical and business cryptocurrency analysis, to find possible usage of that technical analysis and to design value prediction neural network to compare and process its outputs. Research was made to choose cryptocurrency suitable technical analysis indicators and neural network type. Experiments and repeated evaluation of obtained results compared to initial settings lead to best neural network settings. Neural network was trained using preprocessed datasets with experiment-based indicators. Gathered predictions were compared to professional predictions and real price trend. Resulting neural network predicts accurate price with only 13.92% deviation and predicts price trend with 93.90% success rate.
